SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO 2010— ends. 73 million people visited it including executives of the each country of World.
Chinese President Hu Jintao, during the gala opening in which 2,300 performers and musicians from all over the world took part, on May 01 declared Expo 2010 Shanghai as opened.
The theme of Expo 2010 was "Better City, Better Life," representing the common wish of the whole humankind for a better living in future urban environments.
Overall performance of the expo was according to the theme and it all went good as it ends on October 31, 2010. Roughly 73 million people visited the expo.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said: “They came to see the world and that they were not let down”.
He further said: "One day in Expo is more rewarding than 10 years reading”.
He spotted out the Shanghai Expo was the first ever held in a developing country and said: "The success of Expo has strengthened China's confidence and resolve to pursue reform and opening up."
Popularity of the Pavilions

People lined up for six, eight and even 10 hours to see the most popular pavilions of Saudi Arabia, Japan, Germany and Spain, even in scorching August temperatures of 40 C. The China Pavilion was by a long way the most popular, but it issued timed tickets so there was no need to queue. No other pavilion was permitted to implement the system.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon was the last of a sound procession of presidents, prime ministers, princes, dictators and military strongmen who visited Expo admired host Shanghai as: "It is one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities”.
The mammoth-city on the Huangpu River altered itself for Expo. A cocktail of about $58 billion not only gave it an unbelievable downtown fair ground, but five new metro lines, a new airport terminal and a very much enhanced road network.
Future of Pavilions of Expo 2010
Only the iconic China Pavilion, a red inverted pyramid, and the flying saucer-shaped Expo Theatre are slated to remain on the five-kilometer Expo site. Remaining pavilions which ranged from the eye-catching (Spain) to the dull (United States) are alleged to be disbanded.

Britain got a leap on the elimination and has already sold off 8,000 of the 60,000 acrylic rods that fabricated its impressive "seed cathedral". They sold online for less than $30 each but newspapers in Shanghai predicted they'll be value five times as much by the time the pavilion is removed.
There have been unrelenting gossips that Shanghai might decide on to keep a few of the foreign pavilions like Spain, France and Italy which maintain onto a gem of a riverside park but nothing has been established yet.

A Grand Gathering of the World Cultures - Expo 2010 Shanghai China ends on 31st October 2010 showing the world colors of China. Expo was far better than the previous ones the world has seen. The next Expo will be held in Milan, Italy, in 2015.
BIE President Lafon said: "The light of the Shanghai World Expo will continue to shine long into the future."
